Beach St is a premium spray tanning salon in Paddington, Sydney. Beach St offers precision airbrush tanning technology for an even glow and state-of-the-art fume extraction units for the best tan available.

WordStorm PR reached out to a wide range of media, influencers and celebrities and offered them a complimentary experience at Beach St. Rather than have a one-off launch event, it was more effective to offer media an experience to have in their own time. This resulted in hundreds of visits, which in turn resulted in a great deal of love on social media for Beach St and a range of top-quality media coverage about the launch on sites such The Urban List, Channel 10 News, Broadsheet, and Lifehacker.

We also reached out to modelling and celebrities agencies to create long-lasting relationships with the salon. By using the co-founders’ knowledge of tanning, we pitched an expert commentary angle which led to many online features, including Vogue and body+soul.

A year later, many of the media, influencers and celebrities that first visited Beach St as part of the PR campaign, have become regulars and continue to post about Beach St on their social channels.
